I know you are here to read about the blog and the founder or the editor, both of which, is me.
So here is the story, I wanna paint a picture, a picture I don’t think many among us fully see or understand or even try to understand.
The Picture
Not because they dont want to, its because they think its rebellious to not see (as if that makes things any better) it or they are too lazy to even try to see the picture or try to understand it.
So here is the picture, we all, well, at least most of us think that “we shouldn’t judge a person by their appearance because its shallow”, which, admittedly, is true, for the most part.
But thats only half of the story.
Clothes and manners do not make the man; but when he is made, they greatly improve his appearance.
Henry Ward Beecher
See, what people like these (I was one of them not too long ago ago), fail to realize is, that the world doesn’t work in the idealism, the minds, the world works based on reality, so you have to be real for a second and act accordingly.
And reality, quite honestly is, we all judge other people according to how they carry themselves, how they are groomed and how they are dressed and so on and so forth. Doesn’t matter what they say, or they even think, subconsciously, we all are wired to judge each other’s life by taking a look and observing the outlook of people and their behaviors.
Which some might think is wrong, but it is what it is, you just cant deny the fact. All we can try to do is to live with it.
While we might rebel against social standards or norms, it still dictates in many situations how we are supposed to look and act. At some point, you will need to impress someone to get something. If you look groomed and behave like a gentleman, the odds of success are much, much better.
